Akhila Krishnamurthy is a graduate in Political Science from Delhi University. She has worked as a primary school teacher in DAV Public School, Patna. She is proficient in English, Hindi, Kannada and Tamil and committed to the cause of enabling and empowering special children. Educating children, understanding their needs, and imparting training to them have always been dear to her.
Krishnamoorthy is an Electrical Engineer from a reputed institute of technology, with PG Diploma from a top B-School.He is a corporate management professional, with over 40 years of work experience and proven track record in building and managing medium size organisations & Project management. He is also a professional trainer for Marketing, Communication, Motivation and Leadership.
Krishnamoorthy has long been associated with a number of Rotary projects, for the benefit of the society. Currently, actively involved in managing a school at Channapatna sponsored by Rotary Bangalore cantonment. He was also a volunteer for Akshaya Patra Foundation.
Jayashree holds a master’s degree in Arts and has diverse interests in the fields of Music with a flair for social work. She has also done a program on Social Entrepreneurship
She has been working with differently abled trainees for a long time. She started as a scribe, writing exams for disabled children in Delhi, along with volunteering in AADI, Delhi. While in Chennai she supported ``We CAN``, an Autism Resource Centre. After coming to Bangalore she worked in Rainbow Centre for Autism – a wing of Spastics Society of Karnataka (SSK), where she got an opportunity to train Special Children in Computers. She was also a part of Project Prayas at SSK.
Her experience and exposure with special children and her computer knowledge combined together is what led to the birth of Amogh’s Project on working with Children with Special needs. While most of her time is now committed to Amogh, she continues to pursue her interest in music and is involved in several other Social works too. She is an active member in Social Venture Partners (SVP), a Not-for-profit Organisation in Venture Philonthropy.
Krishnamurthy is a Chartered Accountant with over forty years of service in the private and public sectosr with expertise in finance, taxation, project monitoring, loans administration, merchant banking, audit and risk management. He has served as a nominee director on the boards of several IFCI- assisted corporates and cooperatives.
He is deeply committed to Amogh and its objectives.
R. Sankara Raman is a Mechanical Engineer with a PG Diploma in Tool Engineering. He has more than 25 years of experience in overseas MNCs like Hewlett Packard ,Singapore and Flextronics International pte ltd. Singapore and Indian organizations like Godrej & Boyce, and BPL automation -managing New product development, tooling ,Global sourcing and China operations.
Sankara’s passion in academics has drawn him to carry out a stint in NTTF, as Head of Learn and & Earn training programme and zonal head of training centres. He has recruited rural unemployed youth and arranged for industry relevant vocational training programme for them. Trainees who underwent training successfully were placed in reputed engineering organizations.
Amogh – is a charitable foundation aiming to provide appropriate support to different segments of our society, especially in the area of dignified living, life skills and work skills acquisition.
